Omoide Yume
We have one size offering for our Omoide Yume. It measure approximately 11 by 13 inches.
Creating an Omoide Yume, our bespoke patchwork wall quilt, involves a detailed and heartfelt process to ensure each piece captures the essence of the memories it represents. Here's a quick guide on how we craft each Omoide Yume:
Upon receiving your clothing, we carefully sort through each piece and the select the parts that best qualify our cutting requriement.
A design is crafted to visualize the quilt's layout, ensuring each piece of fabric is optimally placed for aesthetic balance and emotional impact.
Fabrics are cut into the designated shapes and sizes according to the design template, ready to be pieced together.
Fabric pieces are meticulously sewn together, creating the patchwork effect. This step is done with precision to ensure durability and alignment.
Once pieced, the patchwork is layered with batting and a backing fabric, then sewn to secure the layers.
The quilt undergoes a final inspection to ensure every detail meets our quality standards and then shipped.
Each Omoide Yume includes a free 2 by 3 inches custom embroidery. You may choose to embroider name, birth details, or a special message as long as it fits the maximum dimensions.
We usually require 1-2 pieces of clothing. Its okay to send more clothing than what we suggested to diversify the palette..
