Omoide Nui 30 Blocks

Our Omoide Nui comes in 3 different sizes:

30 Blocks (37x44in)- We suggest you send at least 17 to 19 pcs of clothing.

40 Blocks (37x58in)- We suggest you send at least 22 to 24 pcs of clothing.

54 Blocks (44x65in)- We suggest you send at least 29 to 30 pcs of clothing.

By default we use each clothing item for 2 squares - one from the front side and one from the back to maximize each piece.  Please let us know if:

* You want us to use one clothing per block. In that case, please consider the block number as the clothing pieces you need to provide, and then add 1 to 2 pieces as spares.

* You want us to use bigger sized clothing as much as possible. Bigger sized clothing usually consume 3-4 blocks.

Each Omoide Nui we craft involves piecing together three layers:

1. A top layer that uses the clothing you provide.

2. The middle layer made from a combination of cotton and polyester.

3. The backing layer made from  100% Japan sourced cotton fabric.

We take great pride in our work and use only high-quality materials and regularly maintained equipment to ensure your keepsake lasts.

The product representations are just sample designs made for our previous clients; if you have specific designs or ideas you'd like to incorporate into your quilt, please feel free to chat with us. We're here to bring your unique vision to life.

Each Omoide Nui quilt includes a free embroidery on one block. You may choose to embroider names, birth details, or a special message as long as it fits the 5x5 inches block. You also have the option to add embroidery for upto 2 blocks at a corresponding fee.

Time Frame - turnaround time is about 6 to 8 weeks depending on the size, complexity of the project and number of projects we are currently working on. Any delay due to unforseen circumstances will be communicated directly to you as soon as poosible. However, we are not responsible for delays due to circumstances beyond our control.

Clothing Selection - It is the responsibility of the client to select the clothing to be used in the project. We recommend that the client selects items that hold significant and sentimental value. Please note that the clothing will be cut into smaller pieces to create the blocks; it is important that you only provide clothing that you are willing to part with permanently.

Offcuts - Cutouts of fabric not used in the project will no longer be returned. Please ensure to only send clothing you are willing to part with.

Quality - The quality of the clothing the client sends will affect the project's final outcome. Please avoid sending clothing with large holes, large spots/stains, or ripped unless you are okay with them being on your Omoide. If you have concerns regarding the quality of your fabric, please let us know before shipping them. By continuing to send clothing with imperfections without notifying us, we assume you give full permission for them to be used on the project.

How do I send them in? Once you have placed your order you will receive a confirmation email with shipping and packing instructions. Please follow the instructions. It is really important to make sure the your package is labelled properly.
